Relationships are one of the most important aspects of the Christian walk. God did not leave us to follow Him alone, but created the church so we would have community and fellowship with other believers. Our faith grows most effectively when we seek God together.

As such, we emphasize healthy communites both in our preaching and our practice.

Preaching Community

"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35)

In a healthy church, strong bonds exist across age gaps, cultural lines, life-stages, and ethnicity. Everyone at Hosanna Christian Church affirms that all believers are united in Christ, whatever might ordinarily divide them. There is no room for the ugly sins of racism, classism, or sexism among the people of God.

Practicing Community

Preaching means nothing if we do not do what God has said. Accordingly, we place a high emphasis on taking time to encourage one another and grow in friendships. Recognizing the blessing of fellowship with both our peers and those in other age groups, we encourage church members to develop relationships with people of all ages.

In addition to the fellowship that occurs during our regular meetings, we set aside time every month to simply eat and enjoy each other's company. As in the early church, the fellowship meal sometimes includes the Lord's Supper—another reminder of our oneness as Christians.

We would love for you to join us at one of our fellowship meals—they present a wonderful opportunity to meet current church members and experience the unity God is building among us. The dates, times, and locations are announced during our regular Sunday services.

Join us in becoming a people who pray faithfully and consistently for God to show His power in redeeming the lost and transforming His own into the image of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
