My heart

Jesus said “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

This verse describes the joy I have in serving Jesus Christ and His Body as an under-Shepherd of the true Shepherd. God has loved us with a great love and given me a great love for Him and His Word. My love and joy in Him have only increased over the years that I have followed Him. I have found in Him my complete satisfaction.

My family

God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and friend in Kathy for over 26 years. As we have served the Body of Christ at Hosanna, God granted us three sons (Eric, Ben and Daniel) who love Him with all their heart, mind and strength. I have been blessed to serve for many years as Deacon at Hosanna Christian Church and as Youth Minister.

My calling

The Apostle Peter wrote,

“Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock.” (1 Peter 5:2-3)

I was ordained as pastor after the retirement of our previous pastor. This verse describes the calling God has given me.
